EY- Risk Consulting– Benchmarking – Manager

As part of our Risk Consulting, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Risk Team, leading client engagements in Benchmarking across various industries in the MENA region. This role involves working with diverse clients and collaborating with other consulting service teams.

The opportunity

We're seeking an experienced professional specializing in Benchmarking to join our team. You'll play a critical role in advancing our service offerings while operating from our offices in Kochi/Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Your key responsibilities

As part of the role, the candidate is expected to:

• Gather quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources, including internal records, competitor analysis, and industry reports.
• Conduct in-depth research on similar organisations to understand their strategies, processes, and performance levels.
• Establish a structured benchmarking framework that outlines the methodology, frequency, and tools used for benchmarking activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate benchmarking findings, insights, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize benchmarking tools and technology to streamline the data collection and analysis process.
• Stay abreast of market trends on benchmarking practices and tools.
• Conducting comprehensive research, including competitor analysis and industry trends.
• Utilize advanced data analytics tools to interpret complex benchmarking data sets.
• Lead business development initiatives, such as proposal writing and lead generation.
• Have an in-depth understanding of the various industry risks/ issues / trends and end-to-end business processes.
• Deliver engagements efficiently, ensuring high quality and adherence to timelines.
• Always comply with the firm’s quality and risk management policies.
• Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.
• Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
• Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.

• Strong quantitative skills to manage and analyze large datasets, and to develop relevant metrics.
• Precision in collecting data, comparing metrics, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Skill in presenting data in a clear and compelling manner using charts, graphs, and other visualization tools.
• Aptitude for identifying problems and developing creative solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
• Exceptional command on spoken and written English
• Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations at a short notice
• Highly analytical, organised and meticulous consulting skills
• Demonstrating and applying strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
• Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadline
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively
• Attention to detail and quality assurance
• Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis & validation

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• MBA with a concentration in strategy, operations, or data analysis.
• 7 plus years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Proven track record of conducting benchmarking studies and performance analysis.
• A valid passport for travel.
