Position: Retail Trainer

Location: Delhi
Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Industry Preference: Retail

Role Overview :-

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Retail Trainer to design, deliver, and manage training programs for our retail teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and sales performance, ensuring that all store staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to meet business goals and maintain brand standards.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Training Delivery & Execution

  • Conduct regular training sessions for retail staff on sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge, and visual merchandising.
  • Deliver induction and onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company’s culture and standards.
  • Organize and deliver refresher training sessions to reinforce learning and maintain performance consistency.

2. Content Development & Implementation

  • Design and develop comprehensive training modules, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to retail operations.
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect new products, brand guidelines, and changing retail trends.
  • Implement learning strategies that align with company objectives and enhance employee engagement.

3. Performance Monitoring & Feedback

  • Evaluate staff performance on the sales floor through observation, assessments, and feedback sessions.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend personalized development plans.
  • Collaborate with store managers and HR teams to track progress and ensure training effectiveness.

4. Store & Operations Support

  • Support new store openings by conducting staff orientation, sales process training, and product familiarization.
  • Ensure uniformity in customer experience and adherence to brand values across stores.
  • Coordinate with operations and visual merchandising teams to align training objectives with store goals.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
  • Gather feedback from participants and managers to measure training impact.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance training content, delivery, and overall effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications :-

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in retail training, store management, or sales coaching (retail industry preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales operations, customer service standards, and visual merchandising.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to travel to different store locations for training sessions.
