Job Description

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple retail stores or locations to ensure smooth functioning, high performance, and alignment with company goals. This role involves managing staff, setting operational strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all outlets. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Manage and supervise daily retail operations across all stores. Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and compliance requirements. Monitor store performance and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Sales & Performance Management: Analyze sales reports and financial data to optimize profitability. Develop and implement strategies to increase footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction value. Set sales targets and KPIs for store managers and staff. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop store managers and frontline staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective action where needed. Foster a positive and customer-focused culture across the team. Customer Experience: Ensure consistent and high standards of customer service. Address customer complaints or escalations in a professional and timely manner. Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery. Inventory & Merchandising: Oversee inventory management and stock levels to reduce shrinkage and avoid stockouts. Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure proper product placement and promotional displays. Ensure timely execution of seasonal campaigns and promotional activities. Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on sales, expenses, and operational KPIs. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management. Use data analytics to drive informed decisions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail management or multi-store operations. - Proven leadership and team management skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software (e.g., POS, inventory systems). - Willingness to travel between retail locations. Preferred Skills: - Experience in fashion industry retail sectors (Clothing). - Knowledge of CRM and customer loyalty systems. - Strong understanding of retail KPIs and metrics.
