Job Description

House of Paneer (HOP)

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Store Management

  • Manage end-to-end daily restaurant operations
  • Ensure smooth opening, closing, and shift handovers
  • Maintain hygiene, FSSAI compliance, and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory, vendor coordination, and stock control
  • Ensure SOPs are followed across kitchen and service teams

2. Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality guest experience
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and resolutions proactively
  • Train staff on service etiquette, upselling, and hospitality standards
  • Build regular customers and improve repeat footfall

3. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff
  • Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews
  • Control attrition and build a motivated team culture
  • Ensure discipline, grooming, and punctuality

4. Sales, Cost & Profitability Control

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Maintain

    food cost below 35%

    as per brand guidelines
  • Control wastage, pilferage, and operational leakages
  • Track P&L, expenses, and operational KPIs
  • Support local marketing, offers, and promotions

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily sales, expense, and stock reports
  • Coordinate with central kitchen / management team
  • Support new product launches and SOP rollouts
  • Assist in audits and management reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
  • Relevant experience is more important than formal education

Experience

  • 36 years

    of experience as Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager
  • Experience in QSR / Casual Dining / Multi-cuisine restaurant preferred

Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good understanding of food cost, inventory, and margins
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, reporting)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage peak hours
