Courtside is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and ensure guests experience the very best of our vibrant dining and bar culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational acumen, people leadership, and a deep passion for hospitality; driving excellence in service, consistency in standards, and a positive, growth-oriented team culture.

At Courtside, you’ll be exposed to various types of services and frequent events like bar takeovers, guest chefs, pop-ups and more to develop your operational skills further. Our setting with sports courts will also give you an opportunity to learn operations of a wellness club, broadening your career horizons. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.
2. Develop, implement, and regularly review operational policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
3. Set clear objectives and performance goals for the team in alignment with the restaurant’s overall vision.
4. Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding of restaurant associates.
5. Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maximize productivity, engagement, and guest satisfaction.
6. Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to ensure food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently upheld.
7. Guide teams toward improvement where required and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
8. Forecast guest covers and revenues while managing payroll, inventory, and other costs to achieve budgeted profitability.
9. Evaluate cost-effectiveness across operations and implement measures to optimize resources and drive efficiency.
10. Oversee stock management and requisitions, ensuring par levels are maintained and wastage is minimized.
11. Ensure all equipment, tools, and serviceware are used safely, correctly, and maintained in good condition.
12. Carry out administrative responsibilities including leading meetings, preparing reports, maintaining daily logs, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
