Job Description

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, high-quality food and beverage offerings, excellent customer experiences, and profitability. This role includes managing staff, maintaining standards of hygiene and safety, handling budgets, and ensuring compliance with all operational policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation.

Customer Service

  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor online reviews and feedback to identify improvement areas.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Create work schedules and manage labor costs within budget.
  • Motivate and support team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
  • Control costs and optimize profitability.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Support initiatives to build customer loyalty and attract new patrons.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
