Their duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing various areas, as well as replenishing supplies and disposing of waste. Key Responsibilities of a Cleaner: General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Dusting surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and kitchens. Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners. Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas. Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas like door handles and light switches. Ensuring restrooms are properly stocked with supplies. Other Tasks: Cleaning windows and mirrors. Washing and changing linens. Making beds in some cases. Responding to employee or guest requests. Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to management. Following health and safety guidelines and company policies. Maintaining and stocking cleaning equipment and supplies.
