Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Solar Sales Manager to build and lead our residential rooftop solar division in Telangana. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of developing high-performing sales teams and establishing a strong channel partner network. You will be responsible for crafting the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing our brand as the premier choice for homeowners, apartment complexes, and gated communities across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing team of field sales executives and inside sales coordinators.
  • Set clear, challenging, and achievable monthly and quarterly sales targets for both individuals and the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement coaching plans to nurture talent and address performance gaps.
  • Motivate and inspire the team through effective leadership, sales contests, and a positive, high-energy work environment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the residential solar market across Telangana, starting with Greater Hyderabad.
  • Manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Oversee lead generation activities, including digital marketing leads, referrals, and leads from channel partners.
  • Personally handle negotiations for high-value projects, such as large gated communities or apartment complexes.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard a robust network of channel partners, including local electrical contractors, architects, interior designers, and real estate consultants.
  • Develop and implement a channel partner program, including training, certification, and incentive structures.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, providing them with the necessary marketing materials, technical support, and sales training to ensure their success.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation to post-installation support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalations, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage a strong customer referral program to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using our CRM software.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings to ensure our company remains competitive in the market.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of overall sales experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a sales management role, leading a team of 5 or more.
  • Prior experience in the solar industry is highly preferred. Experience in related industries like consumer durables, real estate, or home automation is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • An MBA is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong experience in developing and managing channel partner networks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Zoho).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast sales and analyze market data.
  • A self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Deep understanding of the local market dynamics in Telangana.
  • Fluency in Telugu and English is required; Hindi is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively across the state

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
