Real Estate Equity Research Analyst

Location: BKC Mumbai

Reports To: Head of Institutional Equity Research

Job Summary:

The Real Estate Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial and market analysis of listed real estate companies and REITs. The role involves preparing detailed research reports, developing valuation models, and providing actionable investment recommendations to support portfolio and investment decisions.

Qualifications / Skills/ CTC:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Real Estate

  .

• CFA / CA / MBA (Finance)

  preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in

  equity research, real estate analysis, or investment valuation

  .
• Strong understanding of

  financial statements, valuation methodologies, and real estate metrics

  (e.g., NOI, cap rate, NAV, FFO).
• Proficiency in

  Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet

  , and financial modeling tools.
• Excellent

  analytical, quantitative, and report-writing skills

  .
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct

  fundamental analysis

  of real estate companies, REITs, and property developers.
• Build and maintain

  financial models

  (DCF, NAV, FFO/AFFO, comparable company analysis) to evaluate company performance and valuation.
• Track and analyze

  macroeconomic indicators, interest rate trends, and real estate market dynamics

  impacting the sector.
• Prepare

  detailed sector and company research reports

  , including investment theses and risk assessments.
• Monitor

  quarterly earnings, corporate developments, and management commentary

  for covered entities.
• Evaluate

  property portfolios, asset quality, and capital structure

  of real estate companies.
• Support senior analysts in preparing

  presentations and investment recommendations

  for institutional clients.
