The opportunity
Repair & Maintenance Engineering focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including: Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications. Performing engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts. Liaising with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules. Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions against original operation to minimize downtime.
- Familiar with fishbone & why-why analysis or equivalent tools for root cause analysis
- Replace worn or broken parts and test repaired equipment to ensure proper function.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies and schedules to extend equipment lifespan.
- Ability to do Major refurbishment of old equipments
- Monitor equipment performance on regular time interval to identify potential issues before they cause a failure.
- Conduct routine checks and complete detailed logs and records of maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations.
- Keep up to date on changes to regulations of Government authorities or equivalent
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment which are related to Maintenance function
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure breakdown free operation of equipments
- Supervise and train maintenance team and contractors on regular time
- Manage & maintain inventory, and procurement of parts and equipment.
- Lead improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Maintenance Engineer having experience of all the process industries, preferable electrical maintenance engineer
- Process equipments - ovens, boilers, oil handling plants and Compressors
- Assembly equipments – Hydraulic & pneumatic operated equipments, SPM (Special purpose machine), Transferring trolleys & conveyors
- Electrical equipments – Knowledge of PDB, DCS, SCADA, Reading, checking & implementation knowledge of electrical control circuity
- Material handling equipments – EOT cranes, BOP & Stacker
- Procurements - Ability to finalize spares technical specification for procurement of spares & service offers
- SAP knowledge is required for procurements & other activities
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
