Job Title: Relationship Manager – Life & Health Insurance Industry: Insurance Broking Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai and Nagpur Salary: ₹4 – ₹7 LPA (Based on experience and performance) Experience: 2–5 years preferred Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to join our insurance broking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients to provide tailored life and health insurance solutions. This role involves proactive engagement, in-depth product knowledge, and a consultative approach to customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a portfolio of retail and/or corporate clients for life and health insurance solutions Understand client needs and provide appropriate insurance advice across term plans, health insurance, critical illness, and group insurance Achieve sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and cross-selling Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure best-fit solutions and efficient claim support Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, renewals, and after-sales service Prepare proposals, policy comparisons, and documentation in line with compliance norms Stay updated on IRDAI guidelines, insurance products, and market trends Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory compliance standards Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certifications in insurance (e.g., IRDAI license) preferred 2–5 years of relevant experience in insurance broking or life/health insurance sales Strong understanding of life and health insurance products Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills Ability to manage targets and handle pressure with a solution-oriented approach Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an insurance brokerage or multi-insurer setup Knowledge of underwriting processes, claims handling, and premium structures Existing client base or network in the insurance domain Show more Show less
