Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Officer Location: Punjabi bagh west Department: Regulatory Affairs / Quality Assurance Experience: 3–4 years Industry: FMCG / Food & Beverage / Nutraceuticals / Ayurvedic / Healthcare We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Officer to ensure our products adhere to all relevant regulations and standards, including FSSAI , AYUSH , Label Compliance , and Legal Metrology Act . The candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining regulatory submissions, reviewing product labels and packaging, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibility : FSSAI Compliance: Ensure end-to-end compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations for all food and beverage products. Manage FSSAI licensing and registration processes. Coordinate with the quality and product development teams to ensure all formulations and labels meet FSSAI standards. AYUSH Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance for Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani, and Herbal products under the Ministry of AYUSH. Prepare and submit documentation for product approvals, renewals, and notifications as per AYUSH guidelines. Liaise with AYUSH authorities for licenses and clarifications. Label Compliance & Legal Metrology: Review product labels to ensure compliance with Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules and other applicable labeling regulations. Verify accuracy of declarations (MRP, weight, expiry, batch, etc.) and ensure mandatory declarations are made. Keep abreast of changes in labeling and packaging regulations and implement necessary changes proactively. Documentation & Audits: Maintain up-to-date regulatory dossiers and ensure timely renewals and compliance submissions. Support internal and external audits related to regulatory matters. Keep track of new regulatory updates and communicate them to relevant departments. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Life Sciences, or related field. 3–4 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in FMCG, nutraceuticals, ayurvedic, or food sectors. Strong knowledge of FSSAI, AYUSH regulations, Legal Metrology Act , and labelling laws . Experience handling regulatory portals such as FoSCoS , e-Aushadhi , etc. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
