Regression Tester with hands-on experience in Anaplan testing, data validation/analysis, and strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.

We are seeking a skilled Regression Tester with hands-on experience in Anaplan testing, data validation/analysis, and strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, accuracy, and stability of business-critical applications by conducting rigorous regression testing, validating data integrity, and analyzing results to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

•Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.

•Execute end-to-end testing of Anaplan models, validating calculations, data flows, and overall performance.

•Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and validation checks aligned with business and technical requirements.

•Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple systems and sources.

•Use SQL, Python, and Excel (advanced) to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.

•Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

•Document, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.

•Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation opportunities.

•Support test planning, strategy, and execution within Agile/Waterfall environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•Proven experience in regression testing with strong defect identification and troubleshooting skills.

•Anaplan Level 1 / Level 2 certified, with solid understanding of Anaplan data structures and model functionality.

•Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data validation and analysis.

•Experience working with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.

•Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and best practices.

•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.

•Exposure to performance/load testing.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
