Regional Sales Manager

Position:

Role Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding distribution, supervising the sales team, and ensuring strong market presence for SVVAD PRO products across assigned territories in GT, MT, INSTITUTIONAL AND COMPANY BRANDED STORES

Key Responsibilities

1.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for SVVAD PRO FMCG products.
• Execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.

2.

• Appoint, manage, and monitor distributors & channel partners.
• Ensure product availability, coverage, and visibility in all markets.
• Manage General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Institutional and wholesale channels.

3.

• Lead, guide, and motivate Sales Executives/ASMs.
• Conduct field visits, performance reviews, and on-ground coaching.

4.

• Implement trade schemes, promotions, and merchandising plans.
• Monitor competitor activities and share insights for improvement.
• Track secondary and primary sales, inventory, and field execution.

5.

• Prepare sales reports, market analysis, beat plans, and KPI dashboards.
• Identify territory gaps and take corrective action.

6.

• Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Handle escalations and close high-value negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of FMCG sales experience.
• Strong exposure to GT; MT, Institutional Sales experience is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in distributor appointment & team handling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical ability and proficiency in MS Excel / CRM tools.
