Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets for the region by monitoring primary & secondary sales, driving new product launches, and ensuring consistent growth. Additionally, you will focus on distribution expansion, market penetration, team management, distributor management, market execution & visibility, demand planning & forecast accuracy, competition tracking & market intelligence, scheme & budget management, customer relationship management, reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the region - Monitor primary & secondary sales and ensure consistent growth - Drive new product launches to achieve targeted sales contribution - Increase numeric & weighted distribution across the region - Ensure proper coverage in GT/MT/Wholesale as per company plan - Identify new potential markets, outlets & distributors - Lead, train and motivate ASMs, SOs, TSIs, and field team - Conduct regular market visits, coaching and joint working - Ensure proper route planning, target setting & performance reviews - Appointment of new distributors as per coverage plan - Ensure distributor ROI, claims management, inventory hygiene, and timely billing - Track stock levels to avoid OOS (Out of Stock) and overstocking - Ensure execution of planograms, POP/visibility as per brand guidelines - Achieve merchandising KPIs: Availability, Freshness, Share of Shelf, Facing, and Display - Ensure availability during peak/seasonal demand - Provide accurate market forecasts to SCM - Monitor sales trends to reduce returns, expiries, and stock losses - Coordinate with production & supply chain for product availability - Monitor competitor activities: pricing, schemes, new products & promotions - Provide market insights and actionable strategies to HO - Recommend corrective plans during market share drop - Ensure effective implementation of trade schemes & promotions - Monitor utilization of budgets & ensure ROI on trade spends - Control discount leakages and ensure proper documentation - Build strong relationships with key retailers, wholesalers & MT chains - Address escalations and resolve market complaints quickly - Conduct periodic distributor & retailer meetings - Submit timely MIS reports: Sales, competition, market execution, and forecasting - Ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and compliance norms - Maintain accurate sales documentation & data Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in sales and distribution management - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities - Proficiency in MS Office and sales software - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Note: The benefits and work location details were not provided in the job description),
