Role is responsible for driving growth of the credit life insurance business by developing and managing partnerships with banks, NBFCs, MFIs, fintechs, and other lending institutions. The role focuses on achieving premium targets, expanding distribution, and ensuring smooth execution of credit life programs.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales and revenue growth for the Credit Life insurance portfolio.
  • Acquire new institutional partners (banks, NBFCs, MFIs, fintechs, housing finance companies).
  • Manage and deepen relationships with existing partners to maximize penetration.
  • Achieve annual and quarterly premium, policy, and profitability targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, products, and segments within credit-linked insurance.

Partner & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key institutional partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with underwriting, operations, claims, and product teams to ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Resolve partner issues related to policy issuance, servicing, and claims.

Product & Process Management

  • Support development and customization of credit life products based on partner needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, underwriting, and company guidelines.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, persistency, and loss ratios.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance turnaround time (TAT) and service quality.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the credit life sales team.
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Provide training and support to ensure product and market knowledge.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales performance, MIS, and pipeline management.
  • Analyze partner performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management.
