Job Description

Position Title : Regional Manager - Projects

Location : Kolkata

Reporting : Zonal Head (East)


Objective:

To drive institutional and project sales in West Bengal by creating and managing a robust sales funnel and establishing deep-rooted relationships with key stakeholders including real estate developers, architects, interior designers, contractors, and consultants. The primary focus will be on securing product approvals and ensuring high conversion rates from pipeline opportunities.

Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and Sales (Private Projects)
  • Proven experience in institutional and project sales within the building materials industry, preferably in the tile segment across Kolkata/West Bengal
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate developers (builders and promoters), architects, Interior Designers, contractors, and real estate consultants to secure product approvals and drive sales conversions
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer preferences, upcoming projects, and relevant government policies, regulations, and fiscal/monetary updates impacting the real estate sector.


Key Capabilities and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated success in project/institutional sales within the building materials industry (tiles experience preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales funnel management, lead nurturing, and long-cycle B2B sales conversions.
  • In-depth understanding of West Bengal’s real estate ecosystem, supported by a robust database of top builders, architects, interior designers, consultants, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Strong networking, relationship management, and negotiation skills to drive product approvals and project closures.
  • Sound knowledge of the regional market dynamics, ongoing and upcoming construction projects, and real estate trends.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate / Relevant academic qualification
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in building materials industry, with a strong focus on project sales and relationship-based selling.
  • Prior experience in managing a high-value sales funnel and maintaining detailed stakeholder databases is highly desirable.
