Role Overview:

Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets for solar products and solutions.
• Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners in the assigned region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to drive sustainable sales growth.
• Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends.
• Ensure timely execution of sales plans, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Train and support channel partners on product knowledge, pricing, and sales techniques.
• Monitor regional sales performance, prepare reports, and present insights to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and credit control norms.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor the regional sales team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• 5–8 years of experience in Solar Sales, Channel Sales, and Distribution Management

  (experience in renewable energy/solar sector is mandatory).
• Strong network of distributors and dealers in the solar industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
