About the role:

The Regional Sales Manager – Food Service (West) will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) segment through an established network of distributors. The role involves managing channel partners, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring profitable sales across the Western region while aligning with the company’s strategic goals in the food service vertical.


Duties & Responsibilities:


1. Sales & Business Development

•Achieve regional sales targets, growth, and profitability objectives in line with national goals.

•Drive business through the distributor network, focusing on product availability, visibility, and pricing discipline.

•Identify and onboard new distributors to strengthen market coverage.

•Develop and execute regional sales plans tailored to the HoReCa segment.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts (large hotel chains, QSRs, catering groups, and institutional customers).


2. Channel Management

• Manage, motivate, and support distributor partners to ensure efficient supply chain, credit control, and

secondary sales growth.

• Implement distributor performance monitoring metrics and take corrective action where necessary.

• Coordinate with distributors on promotional plans, product placement, and inventory management.


3. Market & Customer Insights

• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decisionmaking.

• Work closely with product teams to provide feedback for product innovation and improvement.

• Conduct market visits to ensure effective execution at the point of sale.


4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor the regional sales team to achieve performance objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—supply chain, finance, and customer service—to ensure

seamless execution.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and reporting processes.
