Job Description

The Senior Manager Regional Sales is a frontline customer acquisition role. The activities involve working with and managing the partner network in each region and driving high-quality customer engagement. This role is responsible for building strong partner relationships, driving sales, and ensuring the successful delivery of Ascent HR s Product(s) to end customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Below is an indicative, but not exhaustive list of the Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, engage and on-board prospective partners.
  • Anchor the partner way of working.
  • Ensure adequate resource and knowledge availability with each partner.
  • Ensure partner works within the boundaries of ethics and compliance.
  • Own the acquisition quota for the period and deliver.
  • Ensure customer retention metrics.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Encourage, attend, and own demand generation activities.
  • Work with major CA firms with an HR practice and build a network of partners with them.
  • Organize and coordinate product demos with the backend team.
  • Oversee implementation with deep coordination with partners.
  • Ensure strict adherence to contracts and payment terms.
  • Work with partners on annual business plans.
  • Work with partner resources for assessment and certification.

What This Role Owns:

  • End-to-end partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement in the assigned region.
  • Ownership of customer acquisition quotas.
  • Driving customer retention and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partner business planning and performance management.
  • Ensuring operational compliance and adherence to contracts and payment terms.
  • Relationship management with key partners and CA firms.

What This Role Does NOT Own:

  • Creation of core marketing content (driven by the marketing team).
  • Product pricing and discounting decisions (handled by leadership).
  • Backend implementation ownership (only coordination is required).
  • Final commercial approvals beyond defined authorization limits.

  • Compliance and adherence to contracts and payment terms.
  • 7 10 Years in channel operations, partner management, or sales operations within a SaaS, HR Tech, or enterprise solutions environment.
