Job Description

As a Regional Sales Manager for Gold Loans, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the gold loan business in your assigned region. Your primary objectives will include managing sales teams, creating and implementing regional strategies, meeting sales targets, and ensuring operational compliance. Your key responsibilities will involve achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for gold loans, discovering and cultivating new markets and customer segments, enhancing branch productivity, and expanding the loan portfolio in the region. You will be leading and inspiring a team of Area Sales Managers and field executives, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing necessary training and coaching to enhance team performance. Driving business through various channels such as branches, DSAs, and digital platforms will be essential. Building and nurturing strong relationships with partners and stakeholders will also be a crucial aspect of your role. Market analysis tasks will include monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends, enabling you to make informed recommendations to maintain a competitive advantage in the industry. Your duties will also involve ensuring compliance with company policies, KYC norms, and audit requirements. Additionally, you will need to manage risks associated with gold appraisal and loan disbursement processes effectively. Customer service excellence is paramount, and you will be expected to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by addressing and resolving escalated customer issues promptly. Your success in this role will require proven experience in gold loans or secured lending products, exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, knowledge of gold valuation and lending norms, and an analytical mindset to drive performance. In terms of qualifications, a Graduation/Post-Graduation in any discipline is required, with an MBA being preferred. You should have a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant sales experience, particularly in gold loan operations.,
