Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Bihar, Assam & North-East India Location: Bihar, Assam & North-Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim) Job Type: Full-Time, FIELD JOB --- About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee and expand our sales operations across Bihar, Assam, and the North-Eastern region of India. The role involves managing a team, building distributor/dealer networks, achieving sales targets, and ensuring strong market penetration. --- Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Appoint, manage, and support distributors, dealers, and channel partners across assigned states. Lead, guide, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve individual and team KPIs. Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint in untapped markets. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to design effective sales strategies. Build strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and stakeholders. Ensure timely collections, credit management, and adherence to company policies. Conduct regular market visits, sales reviews, and training programs for the team. Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams for smooth operations. --- Qualifications & Requirements: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing preferred). 10-15 years of proven sales experience in FMCG, Pharma, Consumer Durables, or related industries. Strong distributor/channel management experience in Bihar & North-East markets. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to travel extensively across the region.
