ROLE OVERVIEW

Regional Sales Manager (Coastal AP)

3 Sales Officers

dealer-driven building materials

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, train, and monitor a team of

    3 Sales Officers

  • Set daily/weekly/monthly

    truck-wise targets

  • Ensure strict adherence to

    mandal-wise beat plans

  • Conduct weekly review calls and monthly performance meetings
  • Enforce discipline in reporting (Morning Beat Plan + EOD report)

2 Dealer Network Development

  • Aggressively appoint

    new dealers & sub-dealers

    across all 4 districts
  • Strengthen existing dealer relationships to grow secondary sales
  • Improve counter visibility, branding, and retailer loyalty
  • Implement dealer schemes and track performance outcomes

3 Contractor & Influencer Market Building

  • Conduct regular site visits with team members
  • Build relationships with

    contractors, masons, builders, site engineers

  • Increase pull-demand for AAC blocks
  • Conduct demos, training, and influence-building activities

4 Sales Achievement (Truck-wise Targets)

  • Own all regional sales metrics: monthly, quarterly & annual
  • Monitor pipeline, enquiries, and secondary sales movement
  • Push for daily order bookings and consistent follow-ups
  • Ensure early collections and maintain credit discipline

5 Market Expansion & Intelligence

  • Map high-potential mandals and identify new business pockets
  • Identify strong dealer candidates in rural & semi-urban areas
  • Track competitor pricing, schemes, switching patterns & movements
  • Submit territory MIS and strategy suggestions weekly

6 Field Audits & Operational Control

  • Conduct surprise market visits to verify field activity
  • Audit dealer counters, visibility, and performance metrics
  • Ensure SOPs, pricing, and sales processes are followed properly

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

MUST BE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING BUILDING MATERIAL INDUSTRIES:

  • TMT Steel Sales

    (BEST MATCH)
  • Paint Distributor / Dealer Network
  • AAC Blocks / Hollow Blocks / Paver Blocks
  • Waterproofing / Construction Chemicals (Fosroc, MYK, Sika, Roff, Dr. Fixit)
  • Aggregates / Sand / Crusher Sales
  • Cement dealer field operations

Deep knowledge of the KrishnaGuntur–Godavari markets is essential.
