Position: Business Development Manager AGV/AMR & Intelligent Warehousing Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead regional business development for our AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), and Intelligent Warehousing Systems portfolio with their region & support PAN India. The role requires strong expertise in intralogistics automation, the ability to build strategic partnerships, and a proven track record in driving sales and market growth across manufacturing and warehousing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand market share for AGV, AMR, and intelligent warehousing solutions in India and overseas markets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with customers in sectors such as automotive, electronics, e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.
  • Build and manage relationships with key accounts, system integrators, and OEM partners.
  • Lead solution discussions, proposals, and negotiations with customers.
  • Work closely with solution design, engineering, and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to strengthen market positioning.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and channel partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Provide inputs to global product and R&D teams based on customer/market feedback.

Key Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in automation, robotics, intralogistics, or warehousing systems.
  • Proven experience in business development, solution sales, or key account management for automation solutions.
  • Strong customer network across intralogistics, manufacturing, and e-commerce sectors.
  • Knowledge of AGV/AMR technologies, ASRS, conveyors, sorting systems, WMS/WCS integration.
  • Ability to lead high-value negotiations and close complex solution sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India and internationally on need basis.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in companies focused on logistics automation, robotics, or intelligent warehousing.
  • Exposure to large-scale automation projects with global customers.
  • MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
