Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Regional Manager - Channel Sales

Job Location: Chennai

Territory handling: Entire Tamil Nadu

Job Type: Permanent/Full Time

Department: Channel Sales

Minimum Qualification: Diploma/B Tech / BE (Mechanical) / Graduate with MBA

Min Experience: 6-8 years

Primary:

1) Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

2) Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed

3) Accurately forecast sales and provide regular updates to senior management.

4) Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and threats within the assigned region.

5) Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to channel partners to enhance their sales capabilities and product knowledge

6) Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to channel partners, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

7) Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

8) Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

9) Monitor competitor activities and provide regular updates on market trends and the competitive landscape.

10) Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, market requirements, and competitive insights.

11) Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales promotions and marketing campaigns.

12) Accurately forecast sales and provide regular updates to senior management.

Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and threats within the assigned region.

Secondary:

1) Preparing detailed reports on channel performance, market trends, and competitive activities.

2) Representing the company at industry events and trade shows.

3) Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.

4) Acting as a point of contact between the channel partners and the company.

5) Resolving escalated channel partner issues and disputes.
