Job Description
Lead and manage the credit underwriting function across the assigned region
Evaluate and approve loan proposals within defined authority limits across product lines (Education Loans, School Funding, etc.)
Ensure adherence to credit policy, underwriting standards, and compliance guidelines
Drive consistent portfolio quality by maintaining acceptable delinquency and loss metrics
Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursement
Maintain strong vigilance on high-value proposals and monitor key accounts
Support audits, internal reviews, and regulatory compliance requirements
Provide timely MIS, analytical insights, and feedback to the zonal leadership on credit trends
Key Responsibilities:
Proven expertise in financial analysis, risk management, high ticket proposal
8-12 years of proven experience in credit with exposure in education loan, institutional lending, LAP, SME etc
Strong understanding of credit processes, legal documentation, and regulatory norms
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
