Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers and infrastructure.
• Perform system updates, patching, and security hardening to ensure compliance.
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot server, network, and application issues.
• Manage user access controls, data backup routines, and restoration procedures.
• Participate in Incident, Change & Audit management processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation including system configurations, SOPs and change logs.
• Automate daily operational tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.
  

Core Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Debian).
• Proficiency in VMware / Virtualization / Hypervisor management.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPN).
• Experience with backup tools such as Veeam, rsync, cron-based solutions.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS / Azure) is a plus.
  

Preferred Certifications

• RHCSA / RHCE or equivalent certification (highly advantageous)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
