Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, high-energy Recruitment Lead who can drive our talent acquisition function end-to-end. This role requires someone who can lead a team while also personally working on and closing positions, especially critical, niche, or time-sensitive roles. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing skills, exceptional networking capability, and the ability to partner with business leaders to deliver top-quality talent swiftly.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of recruiters to achieve hiring targets.

  • Provide guidance on sourcing strategies, resume shortlisting, and interview readiness.

  • Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and performance discussions with the recruitment team.

Hands-On Hiring

  • Personally manage full-cycle recruitment for key, senior, or niche requirements.

  • Source, screen, interview, and close roles independently with minimal turnaround time.

  • Build strong pipelines for recurring or business-critical positions.

  • Handle challenging or escalated roles to ensure timely closure.

Sourcing & Networking

  • Identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn, networks, referrals, events, and communities.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential candidates.

  • Leverage social media, talent forums, and innovative channels to reach passive talent.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business heads and hiring managers to understand talent needs.

  • Partner with internal teams to align hiring priorities and workforce plans.

  • Provide regular updates, MIS, and recruitment analytics to leadership.

Process & Candidate Experience

  • Ensure end-to-end adherence to recruitment processes and quality standards.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at all touchpoints.

  • Drive continuous improvements in the hiring process, tools, and sourcing methods.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to individually close positions, especially in a fast-paced IT/tech environment.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong sourcing capability across LinkedIn, Boolean search, market mapping, and referrals.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple open roles simultaneously.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and coach a team.

  • Strong business acumen with a solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 8 10 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.

  • Strong experience in IT/tech hiring is preferred.

  • Must be based out of Pune or willing to relocate.
