OPT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit

  F1-OPT, CPT, and STEM OPT candidates

  from universities, job portals, and social media platforms.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate database for various technology and business roles.
• Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment process—initial contact, interviews, onboarding, and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with university career centers and student communities.
• Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates’ technical and communication skills.
• Educate candidates about visa processes, training programs, and career opportunities.
• Collaborate with the HR and sales teams to match candidates with client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with immigration and company policies during the hiring process.
• Track and report recruiting metrics (pipeline, submissions, hires, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience

  in recruiting (OPT/US staffing experience a plus).
• Familiarity with U.S. work visas (OPT, CPT, H1B, Green Card, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ATS systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using job boards such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, Handshake, or CareerBuilder.
• Strong networking abilities, especially within the student and university community.
• Self-motivated and target-driven personality.
• Prior experience working with IT staffing or consulting firms.
