React & React Native Developer

We’re looking for a proven project manager from a digital technology background to help guide web and mobile application projects through understanding project scope, coordination of design, development, and QA, focusing on completion on time and on budget.

This is a client-facing role at an app development agency, so attention to detail, great customer service, and communication skills are an absolute must.

As a technical partner, we operate in full transparency with our partners. Set-monthly-rate, pay-as-you-go, fair pricing. Detailed project roadmaps and deliverable schedules. Quick response times. Weekly and bi-weekly project status meetings. A dedicated project manager, developers, designers, and QA-testers. Whatever our partners need, we have their backs (and yours)!

The Essential Duties:

- Develop project plans in collaboration with the development team members.

- Create project roadmaps.

- Manage day-to-day project details against the project roadmap.

- Serve as point of contact on all assigned projects.

- Hold weekly Partner calls for any assigned projects.

- Define deliverables and responsibilities for the development and design teams.

- Identify and remediate potential roadblocks affecting projects to ensure that timelines are met.

- Assist in QA testing - ensuring that all items in scope are functioning properly.

- Schedule product walkthrough meetings with assigned partners.

- Ability to discuss/document potential change orders that may result from out-of-scope requests.

- Manage your project teams in an Agile fashion! We practice Rapid Iterative Development using Kanban boards.

And, Occasionally:

- Sourcing third-party solutions for applications based on app requirements (payment processor, REST APIs, etc.). We have existing recommended tools, but sometimes clients have special requirements.

Skills Required:

- Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as React & React Native framework.

- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).

- Experience with ChatGPT and Claude (LLMs).

- Experience with Slack and Zoom.

- Working knowledge of GitHub, Cursor and Figma.

- Excellent communication (written, verbal, listening) and influencing skills.

- Ability to manage challenging situations/partners.

- Time Management skills.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with American companies in a similar role is required.

- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, along with proficiency in languages of Pakistan such as Urdu and regional languages, to effectively interact with our Pakistan development team.

- Strong customer service skills, as client-facing experience in project management is essential.

Equipment Requirements:

- Must have a computer with the necessary specifications to handle project management software and communications.

- Reliable access to a modern iPhone or Android device for testing and communication.

- A webcam with a polished background for on-camera meetings.

- Reliable internet connection.

This position is remote to anyone who is a Pakistani citizen, fluent in English and local languages, and available during Pakistan business hours. Candidates must have a good independent work ethic and will help transition projects to in-house American project managers during American business hours.

Compensation:

Starting salary ranges per contract between $1,500 - $2,000 USD per month, depending on qualifications/experience.
