The Acquiring and Cards department focuses on the Cards and merchant acquiring business of the bank The Bank offers a wide range of cards designed for the customers specific needs along with offering PoS services under the Acquiring business vertical within the cards team The department is also responsible for driving growth in the UPI payments spaceAbout the RoleKey Account Manager-Platinum is responsible for strategizing, planning & execution for the achievement of regional sales target by breakdown of annual targets Key account manager-platinum is also responsible for continuous monitoring the achievement of targets and focusing the team on exceeding the targets set out in the KRAsResponsible for the acquisition of new Key Account merchants and driving volumes from Key Account merchantsAcquire New to Bank merchant relationships for the bank and manage Volumes from the new merchants in the Platinum SegmentEnsure quality sourcing along with maintenance of high FTR loginsResponsible for managing Volumes and Fees to contribute to the budget and other financial goals and thus contribute to revenue enhancementEnsure retention of the merchants with the bankResponsible for growing business by cross selling the bank s productsPlan and contribute to get higher productivity and lower down the acquisition costQualificationsAny graduation/Post Graduation from recognized universityMin 2 years of experienceRole ProficienciesKnowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends and the acquisition industryKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to manage complex client situationsAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environmentAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to coach and mentor others
