Job Purpose:

efficient, cost-effective, and timely procurement of raw materials

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations

• Source and procure high-quality raw materials as per production and formulation requirements of skincare industry.
• Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials are received in full and on time (OTIF).

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for herbal extracts, oils, actives, and other cosmetic raw materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliability and negotiate best rates.

Cost Optimization

• Conduct market analysis and negotiate prices to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.
• Analyze price trends, supplier quotations, and propose cost reduction initiatives.

Inventory Management

• Coordinate with inventory and production teams to maintain optimum stock levels and avoid stockouts or excess holding.

Data Management & Analysis

• Use

  advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Macros, Dashboard preparation)

  for:
• Purchase tracking
• Consumption analysis
• Costing sheets
• Supplier performance reports

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, supplier certifications, and material specifications.
• Adhere to

  regulatory and quality standards

  relevant to Mother Sparsh’s natural products.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Production Planning, QA, R&D, and Accounts teams for seamless procurement operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field.

• Experience:

  2-4 years in raw material procurement, preferably in

  cosmetics, personal care, or Skincare industry

  .

• Skills:

• Advanced Excel proficiency

  (mandatory) for data management and analysis
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of raw materials used in herbal/natural formulations (preferred)
• ERP (SAP/Tally) exposure desirable
