Role Overview:

JK Spices is seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials—primarily spices—from trusted vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG purchasing and inventory methods like FIFO and LIFO, along with excellent negotiation and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials (spices) from reliable vendors
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards
• Apply FIFO & LIFO inventory methods to optimize stock rotation
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and store teams
• Maintain accurate purchase records, billing formats, and documentation
• Identify new suppliers and build long-term vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and quality benchmarks

Candidate Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in FMCG procurement or raw material purchasing
• Strong understanding of vendor markets, especially in the spices/agro sector
• Proficiency in FIFO & LIFO inventory management techniques
• Skilled in negotiation, coordination, and documentation
• Familiarity with purchase software, billing formats, and MS Excel
• Based in or willing to work in Burrabazar, Kolkata
