Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. The role involves ensuring project costs are minimized, value for money is achieved, and financial risks are managed effectively while maintaining the required standards and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage subcontractor quotations, contracts, and payment certifications.
• Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations for awarding contracts.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company policies.
• Prepare interim valuations, variation claims, and final accounts.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure accurate financial management.
• Prepare regular cost reports and advise management on cost overruns and savings.
• Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Experience

• 2–5 years for Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.
• 5+ years for Senior Quantity Surveyor in major construction projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
