Quality Test Engineer

QA Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to establish and maintain a

robust testing framework for our web application. You will be responsible

for designing and implementing automated tests, conducting manual

testing, and ensuring high-quality releases. The ideal candidate has

experience with modern frontend and backend technologies and a strong

understanding of QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for our Next.js, React, and TypeScript-based application.

● Write and execute manual test cases to identify bugs, usability issues, and edge cases.

● Collaborate with developers to integrate QA processes into the CI/CD pipeline.

● Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

● Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g.,Jira, GitHub Issues).

● Ensure database integrity by validating PostgreSQL interactions.

● Advocate for QA best practices and improve testing efficiency.

● Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand

Requirements and acceptance criteria. Required Skills & Experience:

● 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, preferably in web applications.

● Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.js/Next.js.

● Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Selenium).

● Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and tools like Postman.

● Basic understanding of PostgreSQL and ability to validate data integrity.

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

-Experience with performance testing (e.g., Lighthouse, k6).

-Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS,Vercel)
