Quality Test Engineer

Required Skill Set

• 25 years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual and/or automation) in ERPNext
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to work with databases for test validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to ensure requirements are met.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regression, functional, performance, and user acceptance testing.

• Prepare detailed test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics.

• Participate in design and requirements review meetings to provide QA input.

• Continuously enhance QA processes and contribute to automation strategies.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software/products.
