Job Description – Quality Manager (Healthcare Industry)

Position Title: Quality Manager
Department: Quality & Patient Safety
Location: Dadri , Greater Noida
Reporting To: Deputy Medical Superintendent / Director – Quality & Compliance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality systems in our hospital. The role involves ensuring compliance with NABH, JCI, and other healthcare quality standards, driving patient safety initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The candidate will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to achieve excellence in patient care and hospital operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee hospital-wide Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with NABH/JCI accreditation standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal audits, mock drills, and accreditation assessments.
  • Monitor clinical and non-clinical KPIs, patient safety indicators, and hospital infection control practices.
  • Implement quality improvement projects and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and support staff to ensure adherence to patient care standards.
  • Conduct patient satisfaction surveys, complaint management, and feedback analysis.
  • Train and sensitize staff on quality protocols, clinical governance, and patient safety.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidelines under healthcare laws.
  • Prepare and present quality performance dashboards and reports to management.
  • Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and patient-centric service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, or Life Sciences.
  • Post Graduate Diploma/Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (e.g., NABH Assessor Course, Six Sigma, Lean Healthcare) preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality management in hospitals/healthcare institutions.
  • Hands-on experience with NABH/JCI accreditation and quality audits is essential.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards (NABH, JCI, ISO, NABL, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, training, and team leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability with a focus on patient safety.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, EMR/HIS systems, and quality reporting tools.

Salary Range (Healthcare Industry – Market Standards):

  • ₹7,00,000 –₹7,50,000 per annum (depending on hospital size, accreditation level, and candidate experience).
  • Additional benefits: Performance-linked incentives, and professional development support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
