Quality Manager

Position Overview

The candidate will have overall responsibility of company’s quality management system to ensure products meet customer requirements. This role involves close coordination with engineering, production, procurement, and sales teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor the QA/QC team.
• Establish inspection standards, methods, and procedures for incoming, in-process, and final product quality control.
• Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001
• Ensure compliance with customer quality assurance plans
• Coordinate and manage inspection of heat exchangers by customers (like BHEL, NTPC) and TPI like TUV, BV etc. Manager quality documentation, inspection reports, material certificates).
• Coordinate and manage factory audits by customers
• Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality performance.
• Work with vendors to improve quality of materials and components.
• Liaise with customers on complaints and its resolution.
• Organize training programs for staff on quality awareness, standards, and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or related field).
• 8–12 years’ experience in quality management in an engineering/manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, machining, or pressure equipment standards.
• Experience in handling third-party inspections and audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, or other relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer satisfaction index for quality.
• Supplier quality performance improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
