Job Description

Job Purpose:

To oversee and ensure the consistent quality of yarn produced in the spinning mill by implementing and maintaining quality standards, identifying deviations, solving quality issues, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to enhance overall product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control & Assurance:
  • Monitor quality standards in all spinning processes (blowroom, carding, drawing, simplex, ring frame, autoconer, etc.).
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials and finished yarn.
  • Ensure product quality complies with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Process Monitoring:
  • Supervise online and offline quality checks.
  • Analyze quality data such as USTER reports, CSP, imperfection levels, and waste percentages.
  • Ensure corrective actions for deviation in quality.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead the quality control team and allocate responsibilities.
  • Provide training to workers and supervisors on quality awareness and standard procedures.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Handle customer complaints related to quality and ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in quality audits from customers or external agencies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement quality improvement projects (like Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Suggest process modifications to reduce defects, waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain quality records, test reports, and inspection logs.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality performance reports.
  • Coordination:
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to optimize quality.
  • Coordinate trials for new products or materials.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of yarn quality parameters and textile testing methods.
  • Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Charts).
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Good communication and customer handling skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
