Quality Lead/Manager"

Location: Bommasandra, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities/functions:

●     Responsible for the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System throughout the organization (ASPICE, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015)

●     Ensure Statistical Process Studies are in place, analyzed & actions are implemented

●     Participate with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) in projects and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for New Product Development (NPD) activities. Ensure that all quality strategies meet system requirements and address the Voice of the Customer

●     Participate in the development of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

●     Promote, Participate, and implement Problem Solving Techniques, ensure that Corrective Actions are in-place and effectiveness is measured

●     Analyse Rejections & PPM thresholds, take all corrective actions & ensure they are implemented

●     Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports

●     Measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements

●     Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.

●     Single point of contact for handling customer complaints, proactive response and implementation of counter measures, managing all other quality-related issues both within and outside the organization, including internal, and customer/customer warranty issues

●     Required Automotive Industry quality assurance experience

● Ensure that both internal and external process and product audits are conducted

●     Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback.

●     Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate

●     Conduct and maintain records of MRM as per the MRM Plan and ensure MRM's effectiveness is laid down within all Departments

●     Conduct and maintain records of IQA Audits as per the IQA Audit Plan and ensure IQA's effectiveness is laid down within all Departments

●     Monitor & Review of Internal & External issues

●     Monitor and review of requirements of Interested Parties, for both Internal and external

●     Determine and analyze the Risks and Opportunities

●     Lead Continual Improvement Initiatives within the Department

●     COPQ Analysis on Month on Month basis & ensure Actions are implemented to close the Gap

Essential Technical Skills (Must have):

• ISO, IATF & ASPICE implementation knowledge
• Knowledge on:

1. 7QC tools
2. APQP
3. PFMEA and DFMEA
4. Manufacturing process
5. Six Sigma
6. Defect analysis and 8D methods
7. IPC standards
8. Continuous improvement
9. 4M Change Management

• Document Management
• Configuration Management 
• Risk Management
• Process improvement methodologies 
• Root Cause analysis

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Electricals and Electronics or relevant field
• 7+ years' relevant work experience
