Job Title: Quality Head / Head of Quality Assurance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Quality Head

to lead our quality assurance and control functions. The ideal candidate must have

strong communication skills

, solid knowledge of quality standards and certifications, and expertise in ensuring high-quality products and processes. This role involves overseeing quality systems, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality systems and SOPs.
  • Ensure products meet required quality standards, certifications, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct internal audits, vendor audits, and process audits to maintain quality compliance.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to quality certifications (ISO, BIS, CE, RoHS, etc., based on company requirements).
  • Work closely with production, R&D, purchase, and sales teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Establish quality benchmarks, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Guide the team in preparing inspection reports, testing reports, and compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with external certification bodies and ensure successful renewal and inspection cycles.
  • Train employees and promote a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Communicate quality findings, reports, and improvements to senior management.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products consistently across all production batches.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (M.Tech or MBA preferred).
  • 9–12 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in manufacturing, electrical, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality certifications, standards, and regulatory requirements (ISO, BIS, CE, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of inspection methods, testing processes, and quality tools (5S, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
  • Hands-on experience with documentation, audits, and compliance systems.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools.
  • Candidate must be based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certification in Six Sigma / Lean (Green Belt or Black Belt) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with different departments effectively.
