Position Overview: The Quality Head will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across all manufacturing and operational units of MGPL. The role demands an experienced professional with strong expertise in quality systems, regulatory requirements, and process optimization within the gas or beverage manufacturing sector. The incumbent will ensure that all products and processes meet company standards, customer specifications, and statutory norms. Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement the overall quality strategy in alignment with MGPLs business goals Lead the QA & QC teams across all units and ensure strong governance over quality processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and operations Quality Assurance & Compliance Establish and maintain quality assurance policies, SOPs, and documentation systems Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry norms, and regulatory requirements related to industrial gases Oversee internal and external audits; coordinate with certification bodies and regulatory agencies Quality Control & Technical Oversight Monitor product quality at every stage of production, filling, and distribution Ensure calibration, testing, and inspection procedures are implemented effectively Conduct root cause analysis for customer complaints, deviations, and non-conformities Process Improvement & Risk Management Identify gaps in manufacturing processes and recommend effective solutions Lead risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective measures Improve quality performance through data analysis, KPIs, and benchmarking Team Management & Training Train and mentor the quality team to strengthen technical capabilities Promote a culture of quality, safety, and compliance across departments Collaborate with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams for cross-functional improvements. Vendor & Customer Coordination Evaluate and approve suppliers from a quality standpoint Ensure timely resolution of customer quality concerns and maintain strong client relationships Participate in customer audits, technical presentations, and product quality discussions Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of quality standards in gas or beverage manufacturing (ISO, BIS, safety norms) Expertise in QA/QC methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and quality tools Excellent knowledge of process optimization, safety protocols, and compliance frameworks Strong analytical, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills Proficiency in documentation, data analysis, and audit management Educational Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Food Technology / Equivalent discipline Additional certifications in Quality Management (ISO Lead Auditor / Six Sigma) preferred Work Experience: 8-10 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector Prior experience in gas industry (industrial/medical gases) or beverage industry is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to lead teams and handle multi-location quality operations
