Job Title : Quality Executive – Frozen Food Job Summary : The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all frozen food products meet quality and safety standards before reaching consumers. The role involves monitoring and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations. The candidate will play a key role in the implementation of quality control processes, handling audits, and ensuring the consistency of product quality. Key Responsibilities : Quality Control & Assurance : Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Ensure all products comply with food safety and quality standards, such as FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant certifications. Monitor product consistency in terms of taste, texture, packaging, and freezing quality. Food Safety : Monitor temperature control systems during production and storage to maintain the integrity of frozen products. Oversee hygiene and sanitation practices in the production and packaging areas. Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of quality tests, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions. Prepare regular quality and safety reports for management and regulatory agencies. Ensure traceability of products by maintaining batch records. Audits and Compliance : Assist in internal and external audits, including certification audits. Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety laws and regulations. Coordinate with third-party laboratories for microbiological and chemical analysis of food samples. Training & Development : Train production staff on quality standards, food safety protocols, and hygiene practices. Conduct refresher sessions to ensure ongoing compliance with policies. Process Improvement : Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with the R&D team to develop new quality parameters for innovative products. Key Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance, preferably in the frozen food or FMCG industry. Thorough understanding of quality standards like HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI guidelines. Proficiency in using quality testing tools and lab equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-department collaboration. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues. Work Environment : Working in cold storage or frozen food production areas, requiring adherence to safety and temperature regulations. Regular interaction with production, procurement, and logistics teams. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹9,341.00 - ₹29,712.96 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Fixed shift Work Location: In person
