About The Role

We are seeking a

Lead – Quality and Test Engineering

professional to join a team that drives quality across critical technology systems. The team manages the organization’s quality mandate by delivering robust product releases, deeply integrated with the software development cycle. The focus areas include functional correctness, scalability, automation, performance, and continuous improvement of testing processes.This role requires technical leadership, hands-on test engineering expertise, and the ability to guide and mentor a small group of test engineers. The work also involves close collaboration with business and technology teams in the financial domain, ensuring high-quality systems across trading platforms, connectivity, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automation tools and frameworks to strengthen testing practices.
Design and implement white-box and functional testing for complex systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality in trading systems, connectivity, and forecasting models.
Build and improve testing processes with strong alignment to business needs.
Create and manage end-to-end test-case scenarios, test plans, and release planning.
Drive innovation by improving existing tools and processes or introducing new ones.
Mentor and manage a small group of test engineers.
Ensure repeatable, reliable test procedures and support quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Must-Have Qualifications

6–8 years of relevant work experience.
Hands-on experience in designing test frameworks and white-box testing.
Strong understanding of financial markets and asset classes (exchange-traded and OTC).
Experience testing trading systems and broker connectivity.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java / .NET / C++).
Exposure to scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and API test automation.
Experience with UI stacks (React / Redux).
Strong working knowledge of UNIX or its variants.
Exposure to testing client-server and distributed systems
