We are seeking a
Senior QA Automation Engineer
with 9+ Years of experience with deep expertise in UI and API automation, specializing in Playwright. The ideal candidate will drive quality initiatives across end-to-end, integration, performance, and accessibility testing, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for our software products.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Exp: 9 to 15 years
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API using Playwright and JavaScript.
- Lead end-to-end (E2E), integration, and performance testing initiatives for web applications.
- Implement and maintain visual and snapshot testing strategies for comprehensive UI validation.
- Champion and execute accessibility testing using automated tools, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define QA strategies, document test cases, and manage the release lifecycle.
- Apply BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices and contribute to the evolution of test automation frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure best practices in test automation and code quality.
- Work within cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS) for test execution and infrastructure management.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in UI and API test automation.
- Proven hands-on expertise with Playwright for E2E, integration, and performance testing.
- Experience with visual and snapshot testing for UI validation.
- Demonstrated leadership in accessibility testing using automated tools.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case documentation, and release lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern development workflows.
- Solid grasp of BDD practices and experience implementing them in automation frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of software QA tools, processes, and testing strategies.
- Familiarity with object-oriented and functional programming principles.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of the code review process and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills; at least intermediate proficiency in spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
