The Microbiologist will be responsible for microbiological testing and analysis to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, in compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves hands-on lab work, hygiene monitoring, and coordination with production teams to maintain food safety for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian product lines.

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products of all the food (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) items.
• Perform routine swab tests for environmental monitoring, hygiene audits, and pathogen testing.
• Ensure timely reporting of deviations and assist in root cause analysis for microbiological issues.
• Support plant quality control and audits. Ensure product safety and compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
• Maintain lab documentation and calibration logs. Prepare and maintain accurate records of all test results and observations.
• Validate and verify sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with microbiological standards.
• Coordinate with quality and production, maintenance and other departments for corrective and preventive actions.

Who can apply:

• Candidates with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology, or related field.
• Proven experience with at least 2 years of microbiological testing in the food industry.
• Must be familiar with HACCP, GMP, ISO, FSSAI regulations, and experience with lab equipment and calibration.
• Should be detail-oriented, analytical, and have good documentation and reporting skills.
