Quality Control Engineer

Job Summery :

Quality control Engineer in manufacturing unit is accountable for every aspect of quality assurance within a manufacturing facility. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that the products, services, and processes of the organization meet the required standards of quality. He should understands the customer's needs and requirements and coordinates employee efforts and communications between management and the production.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting inspections and tests on products to assess their quality, identifying any defects or deviations from specifications.
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve overall product quality.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on quality control procedures, ensuring that best practices are followed consistently throughout the manufacturing process.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and procedures
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality control program, including inspections, tests, and audits.
• Conduct regular internal and external quality control audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and report findings to senior management.
• Identify and investigate quality control issues and recommend solutions to improve the quality of products, services, and processes.
• Work closely with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure that quality control considerations are integrated into the design, development, and production processes.

Required skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and Six Sigma
• Excellent leadership skills to oversee and manage a team of quality control inspectors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and meet production deadlines.
• Proficient in using quality control tools and software to monitor and analyze quality metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
• Ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Previous experience in production or manufacturing.
