Job Summary:

The QA Specialist ensures that all cosmetic and personal care products meet quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer specifications. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining quality systems, in-process checks, batch record review, and documentation to support consistent product performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final product quality checks during manufacturing and filling.
• Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products comply with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain and monitor

  GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

  and

  GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)

  in the production area.
• Review

  Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)

  and

  Batch Packing Records (BPR)

  for accuracy and completeness.
• Support validation activities — process validation, equipment qualification, and cleaning validation.
• Handle

  non-conformance reports (NCR)

  and

  deviation investigations

  , ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct

  internal audits

  and support

  regulatory / client audits

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO, FDA, BIS, and other cosmetic regulations

  as applicable.
• Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to improve product quality and resolve issues.
• Maintain QA documentation and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Support training programs for production and QC staff on quality systems and hygiene practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or related field.

• Experience:

  2–5 years in QA within cosmetic, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 22716, and cosmetic labeling regulations.
• Knowledge of product stability, microbiological testing, and packaging compatibility.
