Job Description

Position - QA Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System Development:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and policies for fabrication processes.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support.

Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization, promoting awareness and best practices.

3. Quality Assurance Oversight:

Oversee the quality inspection processes to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics.

4. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action:

Investigate quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure timely resolution of non-conformities and customer complaints.

5. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Lead initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement.

6. Supplier Quality Management:

Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and assessments.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet quality standards.

7. Training and Development:

Develop and deliver training programs for employees on quality standards and best practices.

Mentor team members and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.

Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.

9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering, production, and design teams to ensure quality is integrated into all phases of product development.

Work closely with other departments to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.

10. Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable laws and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degrees are often preferred.

Experience: Extensive experience 10-15 years in quality management, preferably in fabrication or manufacturing settings.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 3834 ,Six Sigma) are advantageous.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical analysis, and inspection techniques.

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
