Key Responsibility : 1. This position works closely with key leaders of Auto ancillary Industries, Infrastructure, Hospitality and cross-functional Team members, On Time Sensitive Critical Fire & Safety issues. 2. This position is responsible for assisting the Industrial operations Team in implementing & achieving Zero Fire & Safety Incidents Methodology across ANAND plants, offices, guest houses and other properties. Role & responsibilities : NBC Part-IV (Fire & Life Safety) requirements, Fire Safety Audit, Fire & Life Risk Assessment and Work Permit System. Development & implementation of Fire & Life safety policies and procedures as per NBC/NFPA, IS 27001 or state fire & life service rule. Know how of Central Electricity authorities rules of India. Implementation of New (Design) and Review of existing fire detection fire alarms and firefighting system and installation & commissioning of the all required firefighting system as per NBC Part-IV, Table-7 Minimum Requirements for Fire Fighting Installations in residential and business buildings. Assuring global best practices are in place. Liaison with the external agency such as Delhi Fire Service Department, Haryana Fire Service Department or any other local fire authority and regulatory agency and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Review & physical fitness checking/ inspection/servicing/ hydrotesting of existing fire hydrant, sprinkler system & fire extinguishers, suppression system etc. to ensure 100% operational status. Maintain records/ documents/ compliance reports. Fire pump room inspection, existing pumps adequacy and capacity/evaluation as per design standards based on NBC, occupancy & storage. Identification of all significant fire & life hazards (HIRA) based on occupancy & storage. Evaluate the existing control measures that are aimed at reducing risk to a minimum level and determine the required additional control measures. Ensure all the installations are as per rule and comply with all fire prevention & protection measures in the UPS room, Server Room, DG Set area, Electrical Panels, Electrical Sockets, Extension Boards, Canteen Ducts, AC, Cooler, LPG storage, Refrigerators etc. Identify the people who are at risk from fire & safety hazard in all the occupancies and implement required measures to eliminate the fire & life safety risk. Evaluate and provide adequate means of escape (emergency escape route, auto glow emergency exit signages, fire exit doors, emergency assembly points, emergency lights) from the premises in case of various emergency situations like fire, earthquake, explosion, flood, riots etc. Train employees on fire prevention, firefighting techniques, and emergency response procedures, conduct periodic fire drills and maintain the record. Development & implementation of detailed on-site emergency response plan (ERP) and co-ordinate with local authority for off-site emergency response plan. Investigate any fire & safety incidents (RCA/5-why-why/Fault Tree), prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive actions to eliminate recurrence. Co-ordinate with the departments and ensure closure of the decided actions. Electrical, Fire & Life Safety Audit across Hospitality, Corporate Offices, Guesthouses & Residential Properties. Submission of proposal of fire & life safety requirements in new installation & renovations in advance and its monitoring. Respond to and support to Corporate Offices, Guesthouses & Hospitality in analyzing/hand holding in resolving fire & safety concerns. Closure of concerns as per stakeholders expectations. Will be responsible to accompany the MMU for providing counselling services to the community, other field level communication and health education support to the program. To ensure participation of the community during health camps. Conduct health check-ups, administer medications, and perform basic medical procedures as needed. To maintain records of patient registrations, dispense medicines and provide health education using IEC materials.
